Portraits
Commissioned portraiture is available of your canine or equine friend. Portraits start at $600 for 11" x 14" and vary with size and complexity. Please inquire for a custom quote.
Process: I can work from your digital photos or shoot my own. Initial deposit of 50% is required for the process to begin. When the portrait is completed, I send a digital proof of the final painting to you via e-mail. Only if you are completely happy with this image do I ask for final payment prior to shipment of the original portrait. All travel, photography and shipping costs are additional.
Timeframe: Allow 2-3 months for completion.
Framing: I do not currently offer framing at this time. It is HIGHLY recommended that you get your piece professionally framed immediately after receiving it. Although the pastel has a final fixative layer, contents can be damaged if not put behind glass in the correct manner.
A NOTE ON COPYRIGHT: Although I retain full reproduction copyright on each portrait, due to the personal nature of a commission piece I will not use an image for publication or art prints without the permission and understanding of my client.
